Corporate Gift
Client: Panalpina, Switzerland
This corporate gift was designed with the idea to showcase the possibilities of 3D printing. The sculpture consists of three balls with an open structure, grouped within each other.
This form would be extremely labour intensive to make using traditional production techniques, if at all possible.
Three spheres with complex patterns were modeled and 3D printedinside each other. They are nested and moveable.
Using 3D printing technology, it was possible to print the complete object at once, including moveable parts and text.
