Subway Interior Design
Client: Designhaus p+m, Germany
This project was done in cooperation with Designhaus, where I was part of the design team. An interior concept was made for a new Metro line in China.
The interior is characterized by minimalistic shapes. The entrance areas are highlighted by large circular lights in the ceiling.
There is an area with a safety belt for persons with reduced mobility and strollers. The gangway has straight poles that provide support and allow wheelchairs to pass through.
The seating areas end in clean shapes that connect to poles that provide grip and support.
