Vehicle Spring Rockers
Client: Wickey, Germany
A series of spring rockers designed for Wickey. The brief was to create characteristic designs of specific subjects while taking the European playground equipment norms into account. After the looks were determined, I optimized the products for the in-house production facilities of the company.
Different types of vehicle spring rockers were designed that convey a suggestion of movement.
One of the challenges to overcome was to find the right balance between recognizability of the subject, simplification and matching the desired style.
The project involved designing the spring rockers in collaboration with the company, creating CAD models and optimizing them for in-house production. I also designed
animal spring rockers for the same client.
